Born Chloe Elizabeth Lukasiak on May 25, 2001, she is one of the most well-known reality TV actresses on Lifetime. She starred in and continues to star in the series Dancing Moms for 4 seasons. She returns as a guest in the finale of the seventh season. So what other roles has she done?
Chloe Elizabeth Lukasiak was born on May 25, 2001 in Pittsburgh, PA. Her parents, Marc and Christi Lukasiak, were highly instrumental in her early stage career, enrolling her in dance classes at the Abby Lee Dance Company at the tender age of two. She then began learning basic dance and jazzz moves, eventually moving on to broaden her style on the stage and beyond.
Chloe went on to participate in a variety of dance competitions both in her home state and at the national level, thus winning many trophies and titles which would allow her to get her foot in the door.
A Big Break for Chloe and Her Mother
The Abby Lee Dance Company was eventually featured on the Lifetime channel. The series Dancing Moms allowed each student, including Chloe, to dance along with their mothers as part of a reality TV series that would eventually make her a major star. Both Chloe and her mother made up the team that would eventually become Miller’s Junior Elite Competition, and the rest would soon fall into place.
Tensions Between Miller and Chloe
Miller’s Junior Elite Competition had some apparent flaws, one being that there were concerns circulating about exploitation of true talent. Chloe’s mother, Christi, was one of the mothers whose concern for her daughter’s welfare overrided any further desire for live competition, and Chloe was eventually pulled from the show at her mother’s request.
For Chloe Lukasiak, however, this wasn’t the end. She started exploring other avenues to showcase her natural talent. That, coupled with the ease she felt performing in front of a televised audience, was more than enough to take her to the next important phase of her career.
Moving Forward to YouTube
Chloe Elizabeth Lukasiak began recording a series of vlogs that would garner more than 2.2 million subscribers worldwide. She now boasts at least 250 million viewers, which began not long after she stopped posting in the early fall of 2017. As of August 2020, her viewership still runs strong, along with her ratings.
But her success isn’t just limited to YouTube. As of 2019, Chloe Lukasiak joined Studio 19, where she was nominated for and won several awards, including the «Choice Dancer» award at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards ceremony. She was also a winner of the «Dancer’s Choice Award» for «Favorite Dancer 17 & Under.» She was considered for two more honors, including the Shorty Award, which she lost to Misty Copeland, her chief competitor.
Chloe Lukasiak later went on to lead roles in several movies, two of which were on Lifetime, Her first one was Center Stage: On Pointe, where she was cast as Gwen Murphy, who was one of many selected for a dance camp in order to help save the struggling American Ballet Company. She went even further to star in other films that were made by Lifetime, such as the role of Savannah Stocker in Cowgirl’s Story. She went further to appear in many different movies, show, and commercials, and still continues to do so to this day.
Practice Makes Perfect
When she’s not acting or appearing in any commercials, Chloe Lukasiak spends quality time practicing her dancing at home. She is currently studying at Pepperdine University and is expected to graduate sometime in 2023. She also has launched her own line of clothing with Dazzine in 2017 and has other career prospects lined up for the future, including writing and modeling.
