Vibration while at Idle

The past few days I have noticed a vibration when I am at Idle. Normally at stop lights. You can hear the dash shaking and feel it in the steering wheel and the pedals. It has been very cold here and thats when it started. This only happens in Drive when stopped as soon as the RPM’s increase it goes away. The only thing I have done to my truck lately is install a Injen CAI the week of Christmas. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and knows what to do.

500rpm seems a bit low. My truck normally idles at 600rpm. You might need to reset the ECU and idle air volume learning now that you have the new intake. Try this procedure out:

With regards to the transmission mount: If the mount is only slightly torn, the telltale is vibration at idle. Once it gets bad it will produce violent shaking upon heavy acceleration, usually when the truck downshifts. But for the first little while, it is just a slight vibration at idle. Try the above procedures first, and if it doesn’t work, then have a peek at your transmission mount.
