Vibration/Shaking while braking

Within the past two weeks my car has started exhibiting symptoms of warped rotors at just 6600 miles on the clock. When I’m braking from speeds of 50 or below at a moderate pressure on the brake (the kind when someone in front of you stops faster than you were expecting) the car shakes forward and backward making my head bob. The steering wheel doesn’t shake or vibrate, so I suspect it is coming from the rears. If it makes any difference I do have the 6MT. This all seems very similar to what happened to the 2011-2018 Honda Odyssey’s, which had brakes that were too small and resulted in the rotors warping prematurely every time, we owned one of them and Honda did nothing.

I took it to the dealership and they said they couldn’t replicate the issue, and refused to let me demonstrate it for them. The stated none of my rotors were warped and that the 3 people who drove my car didn’t experience anything abnormal. I call BS and say they just don’t want to send in a warranty request (they are diamond rated or whatever from VW, of which only like 20 dealers are).

Luckily, I have around 5 other dealerships I can take it to because it is quite annoying and concerning to me.

Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? (Also any suggestions for showing it to the service people)

I think it’s awfully strange that they won’t let you replicate it for them. I’d take it somewhere else first, as you mentioned.

Nah. Whenever that goes off it sounds a loud beep. This is every time I apply to brakes with a moderate amount of force.

Just for reference I’m an undergrad student, so I really hate that this is happening to my car

My GLI has just over 5K miles on it. This just started happening.
